Certified Well Departments/Areas

CWD APPLICATION

To apply to become a CWD or to recertify click here for the application. It's never too late to apply!

PURPOSE

CWD is an exciting step in University Wellness's (UW) goal of transforming Andrews University through wellness. Departments are the central space where connection, community, and caring takes place. Imagine your students and colleagues all sharing an experience that can make the whole department happier, more engaged, more resilient, more confident and healthier!

WHY DO CWDs MATTER

Achieving greater levels of physical, mental, and spiritual health as a community means we all benefit from our collective efforts. The CWD initiative recognizes, rewards and supports those departments that put forth intentional effort to improve their members' health and wellness as a team. This provides an encouraging environment for faculty, staff, students, and visitors to easily participate in an overall healthier AU campus.

WHY BECOME A CWD?

Ambassadors representing certified departments and areas can enjoy free lunches at ambassador rallies and being the first to know about wellness updates and opportunities on campus.

Employees of Certified Well Departments receive wellness enrichment opportunities, annual wellness goodie bags, free chair massages and InBody biometric assessments, access to special sales on personal training and other fee-based services, and an exclusive invitation to our annual CWD Fall Luncheon.
